about

Abi Eaton is a mixed media artist living in Northern Colorado. Inspired by the movement of the seasons, the shapes of nature, both the ache and loveliness of the human experience – she fuses found objects, paper, glue, paint, string, and wax into intimate, visual stories. Currently a full time mother, she hosts classes in her backyard art studio and steals time for her daily sketchbook practice. Collage, with its text and imagery, has long been a place to seek understanding and make meaning. She is an avid believer in the beauty of process and the sacredness of chaos. Whether on the pages of a book or the surface of a canvas, her work invites the viewer into a palpable question of love, identity, faith, and the both/and of living.
